See what an assessment is based on.
Clear information about reviews, measurements and payment makes LYDScore more useful for visitors and places.
Three things we keep separate
The guest’s voice
Reviews come from users describing their own experiences. A business can reply or report a review, but cannot delete criticism itself.
Tools for places
Paid products can provide widgets, insights and profile tools. They do not raise the community score.
The professional assessment
Measurement is commissioned separately. Its outcome depends on evidence and the agreed assessment criteria.
A certificate should be checkable.
An active certificate has a code, a place and a validity period. Check its status on the verification page. Example marks are clearly labelled as examples.
We distinguish evidence from expectation.
A perceived intensity scale is not an instrument reading. A measurement week describes that week, the observed zones and operating conditions. Neither promises what every future visit will be like.
Help keep the information useful.
Report reviews that appear to break the guidelines. Contact us about incorrect place details, questionable certificates or other errors. Explain exactly what you found and where.
When a place pays
Payment covers tools or an agreed assessment. It does not buy a particular outcome. Any paid placement must be identifiable as such.
